How to take BiNovum:

Always fully read the instructions supplied with your BiNovum treatment before starting. Take one tablet each day for 21 days. Starting on the first day of your period you should start with the white tablets, containing ethinylestradiol, for the first 7 days of your treatment and then take the peach tablets, containing norethisterone, for the remaining 14 days of your cycle. Once you have finished the course you should have a break for 7 days before starting your next course. You will still be protected during your break between courses.

Is BiNovum right for me?

As with all medicines there are instances where BiNovum may not be suitable for certain individuals. If you are already pregnant or breast feeding or suffer from conditions such as obesity, epilepsy or high blood pressure. It may also not be suitable if you are taking other medications. Possible side effects of taking BiNovum:

The majority of women using BiNovum do not notice side effects. Side effects that have been reported are headaches and tenderness of the breasts at the start of the course which then improves as the body gets used to the treatment. It is fairly common that women will not find the right pill first time so if you do suffer any side effects that do not go away you should consult your doctor
