Our traveller's diarrhoea pack contains the medicines you need to get your holiday back on track as quickly as possible. For most parts of the world Ciprofloxacin is the recommended antibiotic however Azithromycin is recommended for destinations in Central and Southeast Asia.

Travellers Diarrhoea Pack Contents:

Ciprofloxacin / Azithromycin (2x tablets) are oral antibiotics which help eliviate the symptoms of your diarrhoea by fighting the bacteria that causes diarrhoea.

Buccastem (10x tablets) is an effective in treating nausea (feeling sick) and vomiting.

Loperamide (6x tablets) helps reduce diarrhoea symptoms by slowing down an overactive bowel. It also helps the body to absorb more water and salts from the bowel.

Dioralyte (6x rehydration sachets) helps replace the water and salts your body loses when you have diarrhoea

How to take your tablets:

Ciprofloxacin

Adult dose of 500mg to be taken twice daily. Take the second tablet at least 12 hours after the first.

Buccastem Tablets 

Adult dose should be taken as one tablet twice per day.

Loperamide tablets 

Adult dose should be taken as two initial capsules followed by one after each bout of diarrhoea.

Dioralyte rehydration sachets 

Use one sachet after each loose stool.

Side-effects:

Like all medicines there is always a chance of suffering side-effects.

Ciprofloxacin tablets 

Side-effects are uncommon but some individuals may experience nausea and diarrhoea.

Buccastem Tablets 

Side-effects are uncommon however some individuals may experience drowsiness, dry mouth or dizziness.

Loperamide tablets 

Side-effects are uncommon however some individulas may experience dizziness or constipation.

Dioralyte rehydration sachets 

No significant side-effects.
