ProstaQUICK is a simple test that identifies the level of prostate specific antigen (PSA) in whole blood. Elevated levels of PSA can indicate the onset of conditions like prostatitis, enlarged prostate and prostate cancer. ProstaQUICK detects elevated levels of PSA in the region of 4ng/ml to 10ng/ml. Early detection can aid with diagnosis and treatment of any potential condition.
In the case of a result showing PSA levels of 4ng/ml and over you should consult your doctor for further diagnosis.
How does the ProstaQUICK test kit work?
The ProstaQUICK prostate test kit is safe and reliable and takes just 15 minutes to produce a result.
How to read the ProstaQUICK test results:
Positive - A line appears in both the test (T) field. If the colour is weaker than the line in the reference (R.) field the reading is between 4ng/ml. If the line appears stronger the PSA level is above 10ng/ml.
Negative - If no line has appeared in the test (T) field the level of PSA is below 4ng/ml
Invalid - If no line appears in the control (C.) field and /or the reference (R.) field then the test is invalid.
ProstaQUICK should only be used to give an indication of PSA levels and not for the definitive diagnosis of a condition. If your result is positive you should consult your doctor for further diagnosis.
How accurate is ProstaQUICK?
ProstaQUICK is over 97% accurate.
